Join us on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March 2020 for the New South Wales Chapter Conference and Workshops!

The theme of this Chapter Conference is Holistic Hearing Care. This Chapter Conference will be held at Rydges Sydney Central in New South Wales.

Hearing loss cannot be managed in isolation. The goal of holistic health care is to take a multi-faceted view, considering the way the individual client approaches their personal hearing needs, and to review the professional skills required to optimise client care.

This program explores this issue from two different, but complementary, perspectives: The morning session will examine how audiologists can deliver effective services across all dimensions of an adult auditory rehabilitation program, going beyond the device. The later sessions explore when and how we need to engage with other professionals, to best meet client needs, first considering adult clients who present with associated vestibular disorders and then in the paediatric setting, looking at the challenges of speech and language development and the advantages of a trans-disciplinary approach. Our Chapter Conference will enable you to review and reflect on your own capacities to provide meaningful and effective holistic hearing health care to all your clients.

In addition to the Conference, choose from 2 post-Conference Workshops (which can be booked individually).

The Conference will be held on Saturday 14 March and the interactive and immersive Workshops will be held the following day on Sunday 15 March.

Conference Day registration includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

You will need to register for each of the Workshops separately. Lunch is optional and at an additional cost on the Workshop Day. Each Workshop registration includes a catered break.
