Chapter Conference and Workshops
25-26 November 2019
Join us on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November for the South Australia Chapter Conference! The theme of this Chapter Conference is Integrated Hearing Healthcare: Challenges and Opportunities. This Chapter Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in South Australia.
Hearing loss is often not an isolated health issue. Managing the challenges of hearing health with other age-related conditions is important when providing the best care for clients.
This program will examine the challenges of integrating age-related conditions, such as cognitive decline and dementia, or other sensory losses, like visual impairment, in the management of older hearing-impaired clients. Improving the signal-to-noise ratio will not solve problems of anxiety, depression or failing memory, so what do you do? This Chapter Conference will enable you to review and reflect on your own capacities to provide meaningful and effective hearing health care to all your clients.
In addition to the Conference, choose from 3 post-Conference Workshops (which can be booked individually).
The Conference will be held on Monday 25 November and the interactive and immersive Workshops will be held on Tuesday 26 November.
This Chapter Conference will feature international experts including by Dr Victor Bray, Dr Jonette Owen and Dr Piers Dawes.
