If you are having issues with your internet connection while using Zoom, please try the following:

  • Close down internet pages you have open
  • Make sure other members of your household are not streaming during Zoom presentations
  • Put your computer on mute and use the phone audio option for sound, which can be found when you click on the arrow next to the microphone icon in a Zoom Meeting (you will need to dial a number, enter a Meeting ID as well as a Participant ID)

Yes! Contact events@audiology.asn.au if you are interested.

How many CEP/CPD Points can I obtain for the Conference?

CEP/CPD Points are calculated on the basis of 1 point per hour.

The number of CEP/CPD Points you earn is based on the number of presentations you complete and on completion of relevant assessments including discussion groups, quiz and reflective statements.

What do I need to do to obtain my CEP/CPD Points?

To obtain CEP/CPD Points, you are required to do the following:

1. Engage in a minimum of 75% of each live/recorded presentation you are viewing

2. Complete relevant assessments, including reflections and quizzes, by 11:59pm (AEST time) on the Sunday of the associated Session week. Where a quiz is the assessment, you must complete the quiz with a 75% pass rate.

Please note, no extensions or exceptions are permitted if you are unable to complete the relevant assessments within this time frame.

Do I need to watch all presentations in a Session to obtain my CEP/CPD Points?

No, you do not need to watch all presentations in a Session to receive CEP/CPD Points. You will just need to complete the relevant assessments for the presentations you would like to obtain points for.

I've watched a live presentation on Zoom, how do I find the associated assessment?

You will need to log on to the online platform with your access details to find the associated assessment - assessments will not be emailed to you.

I've watched a pre-recorded presentation on the online platform, how do I find the associated assessment?

You will need to make sure you have played pre-recorded presentation videos through the online platform (rather than through YouTube). Once you have played this through the platform, the assessment will appear for you.
