Join us in February and March 2021 for the workshop day on Counselling Skills for Proactive Hearing Healthcare Management!

Our clients are increasingly becoming more active participants in their hearing health care. They are actively engaging in strategies to change the way they manage communication breakdown, and in seeking solutions that integrate more effectively in their daily lives. They are committed to understanding the implications of hearing loss and determined to feel confident about the choices and investments they make. With more informed consumers, the role of the audiologist has evolved to include a greater emphasis on supporting clients to accept and manage how they interact with the world around them, regardless of the degree of hearing loss.

The workshop day will feature two workshops, and you can choose to attend the full day or a single workshop. The workshop day will be held across dates in February and March 2021. Please click here to view the program.

The first workshop will be on How can audiologists use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy in everyday practice? Following on from the workshop, you will be given access to attend a webinar that will be held in March 2021.

The second workshop will be on Changing the conversation for clients with severe-profound hearing loss. Prior to attending this workshop, you will be given access to attend a webinar to be presented in February 2021.
