Angela is a Clinical Audiologist and a member of the group developing the National Safety and Quality Primary Health Care (NSQPHC) Standards.

Angela has an MSc in Audiology from Manchester University and came to Australia in 2011, with almost 30 years’ experience as an Audiologist in the UK.She became Head of a large Audiology Department at Royal Bolton Hospital in 1994 and was awarded a Certificate in Health Service Management in 1995. Angela worked closely with the British Academy of Audiology and the Department of Health. In 2006 she took secondments to the Medical Research Council and NHS Improvement as National Audiology Lead, giving her the opportunity to pursue translational research and to share good practice, contributing at a strategic level to service development. She has been actively involved with benchmarking projects and in the development of National Occupational Standards.

In 2011 her Department won the Northwest NHS Workforce Modernisation and Innovation Award and was the first non-nurse led service to achieve exemplar status in the UK.

During her time in Australia Angela has worked as a paediatric and complex hearing loss specialist and managed vestibular and cochlear implant services. She has always maintained a clinical role and has provided services to remote and indigenous populations. She joined Attune in 2015 to lead the introduction of Attune Clinics in WA.

Angela has always been actively involved in the education, training and assessment of Audiologists and was a founder member of the North West School of Audiology. 

Angela is passionate about service improvement and client centred care.
