Heidi holds a Master Degree in Communication Disorders and a Masters of Business Administration and is the Group Chief Executive of the Can:Do Group, which encompasses Can:Do 4Kids and Deaf Can:Do, the Royal South Australian Deaf Society. Can:Do 4 Kids provides services and support to  children from birth to 20 who are blind, have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing or have other sensory needs and Deaf Can:Do provides community services, Auslan language development and Auslan interpreting for Deaf and Hard of hearing children and adults and Deafness Awareness Training and Auslan classes for the general public . Originally from the US, Heidi practiced as an audiologist in several states and territories in Australia from 2000-2015.  In 2005 she started Can:Do Hearing a not for profit audiology business, also a part of the Can:Do Group.
