Nerina is an Associate Professor in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland. She has over 80 publications, with a focus on the implementation and evaluation of patient- and family-centred care for adults and children with communication disability and their family members. Her research is supported by grant funding from numerous government and industry sources.
