A retailer/ HR practitioner/management consultant/academic with over 25 years of experience, Nick started his career in education and later moved into the corporate world, via mining and meat manufacturing, becoming a Director at Clicks, a large South African retailer. He has also held executive integration and change management roles both in Australia and internationally, with experience in mergers and acquisitions and internal restructuring programs. This experience is proving invaluable as he prepares our next generation of business leaders through his part-time lecturing commitment at the Federation University’s Business School. Nick was Chair of Committee for Ballarat 2018/2019.

Nick has an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology, as well as post-graduate qualifications in human resource management (Monash) and retail/supply chain management (Harvard). He is a qualified Executive and Business coach, and a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.

Nick and his family chose to settle in Ballarat seven years ago. He is passionate about the region; he recognises the wonderful opportunities it provides for current and future residents, business investors and visitors.
