Simone Michael is an early career Audiologist who has worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital since 2018 after graduating from her Masters of Audiology (UQ). She performs both paediatric and adult diagnostic assessments across a range of clinical loads including ENT and complex VROAs and has begun to branch out into diagnostic vestibular assessments. Starting as a new grad Audiologist in an initially small department she jumped in the deep end and learned that the times when you are a little scared of trying something are when you will grow the most as a professional. She has made her mark on her team by being the person who doesn’t walk away when she notices a problem and showing an eye for detail, forethought for others and a drive for patient care.
