Susan’s background is in Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Employment Law, Intellectual Property, Not-for-profit entities (NFP’s), Taxation and Internet/Social Media, Technology and Cyber law.  Advising a diverse range of clients across varying business sectors, Susan works on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters including corporate structuring, company secretarial issues, corporate governance, employment law, and general strategic matters affecting client’s and their day-to-day operations.   Prior to becoming a lawyer, Susan had twenty years of commercial business experience working in retailing, marketing and business development both in Australia and internationally. Susan’s career included senior management and marketing executive roles at Myer/Grace Bros, Kmart, Esprit, Nike, Bendon and Kraft Foods. Her roles have included leading global buying operations, managing significant brand portfolios, general management and ultimately company directorships.  Susan holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Monash University, Melbourne. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019, Susan was appointed by the Commonwealth Government to be a Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
