The interview is one of the final steps in your application process. We want you to be confident and successful in your job seeking process and your interview technique is a skill that can be nurtured through practice. In this rapid fire style practical session, you will have an opportunity to practice your interview skills by recruiters from a diverse range of audiology settings.
This session is open to First Year Students, Second Year Students and Newly Graduated interviewees only. Please note, there are limited spaces available.
Mock Interviews will be held at your selected hub location on Saturday 4 September 2021. You will not be able to attend this session online.
This session will be run as rapid fire interviews where you will be matched with a selection of audiology professionals acting as interviewers. To prepare for this session, we highly recommend that you review your resume and ensure it is up to date as we will be asking you to submit this for interviewers to review for feedback*. You will be able to get some tips and tricks on structuring a good resume from the online session that will be held on Tuesday 31 August 2021 titled Resume writing and interview preparation, which you can find out more information about by viewing the program here.
You will be contacted closer to the conference with further information about the Mock Interview session and submitting your resume*.
* Please note, this session is a mock interview only and your resume will exclusively be used for feedback purposes.
We would be honoured if you would consider supporting this session and participating in the session as an interviewer for students. Students and newly graduated delegates will have one or two practice interview sessions with a few different interviewers. The number of interviews will ultimately depend on the number of interviewers we have in each location and the number of students and newly graduated delegates who choose to be involved.
