Lex Dwyer engages people in discovering business solutions for themselves. His preferred style is for people to learn by doing, an action-learning model.Using this unique approach Lex was awarded The Excellence in Teaching Award at the Australian Graduate School of Management, at the UNSW in 2012.
It is as much about how he does the work as it is about what he does. He ‘walks the talk’, is authentic, laconic, and has a self-effacing style. He promotes being playful and laughing at yourself and brings a lighter yet insightful view of the seriousness of business life. A central theme to Lex’s work is assisting Leaders to create an environment where people can perform to their best.
Lex has worked extensively to help people become more self-aware.Specifically in the area of Managing Energy and the impact it has on performance.
Since 1982 Lex has been the owner and operator of Corporate Fitness Services, a business he led to Small Business of the Year in 1990. He has worked with world-class presenters, teachers and facilitators and has combined these influences to craft his own unique style.
Sport played an important part in Lex’s early life, playing Australian Rules professionally with Fitzroy Football Club during the 1970’s. He understands competition and what is required for success at the highest level.
