Nick Parkyn is an audiologist at Bloom Hearing Specialists as Clinical Leader for Queensland. In this role he predominantly sees clients in the Tewantin clinic 3-4 days a week, while provided coaching remotely and face-to-face to clinical and administrative staff around Bloom’s QLD clinics 1-2 days/week. For the first 4 months of 2021, he was the interim Regional Manager for Queensland and taken out of the clinic to manage operations of Bloom’s 14 permanent clinics in QLD. Having tried both clinical coaching and management, he opted to return clinical audiology with clients and clinicians and has a unique perspective on the opportunities provided by both avenues.
