Terms and Conditions

Audiology Australia reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and/or presenters without notice. If changes are made to the event, Audiology Australia will use its best efforts to maintain equivalent standards. Audiology Australia reserves the right to cancel this activity due to insufficient numbers – registrants will be notified if this occurs. No compensation will be made should the event be cancelled.

Audiology Australia takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details and prices of events on the Audiology Australia website are correct at the time of online publication. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice. Audiology Australia reserves the right to withdraw any offer at any time.

Code of Conduct

AudA events present opportunities to learn, share knowledge and network. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, AudA Staff, and all others are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct.

AudA is committed to providing a safe, productive and welcoming environment for all event participants, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexuality, religion, disability, socio-economic background, experience or appearance. No event participants should be subject to any form of harassment, bullying or abuse and any such behaviour will not be tolerated.

All participants must comply with the instructions of presenters, facilitators and any AudA event staff. Presentations, postings, and messages should not contain promotional materials, special offers, job offers, product announcements, or solicitation for services. AudA reserves the right to remove such messages and potentially ban sources of those solicitations.

AudA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the event without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and AudA reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future event, online or in person.

Photographs, recordings or screen shots may be taken at the event for use on various Audiology Australia materials and publications, online and print. By registering for this event, you consent to Audiology Australia recording and using your image and likeness. If you would not like Audiology Australia to record you, please let an Audiology Australia representative know prior to the event.

Chat logs may be exported from the event by Audiology Australia, attendees or presenters.

By submitting a Registration Form, you consent to Audiology Australia collecting, using and disclosing your personal information to administer this Event. This may include the production of delegate lists and photographs for marketing and related uses and updating your continual professional development record, unless notified otherwise. We will disclose personal information relating to credit card details for payment processing only. Definitions

Event: includes any Audiology Australia activity for which tickets are required which may include activities, programs, talks, tours or other events.

A Delegate: is a Ticketholder or other person to whom these Terms and Conditions apply.

Ticket: means any valid ticket, e-ticket or wristband that a delegate has acquired which permits the delegate to attend an Event.
